Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

After Zannah talked to her Dad Sunday night, she texted me to check him out as he wasn't speaking in compete sentences. He was back to speaking clearly and we had dinner. His only complaint was that his back hurt so he had a shuffling gait.

Ken went for his early morning walk and when he returned he was still shuffling and began not completing his sentences. We called the doctor and were to come as a walk-in from 2-4 P.M. When he was seen, we were told to go to Mission Trails Baptist Hospital. After a CT scan, the ER physician, Dr. James Davidson, said our options looked like a STROKE or a BRAIN TUMOR. What options!! They transferred us by ambulance to St. Luke's Baptist Hospital for an MRI and to meet our neurosurgeon, Dr. David Jimenez. Donna and Paul met us at MTBH and followed us to St. Luke's with our car and held my hand.
The MRI showed that the tumor was approximately a 6 x 6 cm and had to come out! Surgery was set for Thursday, September 20th in the morning.
What a night! I didn't stop praying to Mary and her Son while I watched the numbers change and listened to the beeps of the blood pressure, respiration and O2 sat on the ICU machines.
